National Constitution Center, Philadelphia Wedding Florist: The Perfect Philadelphia Wedding!
This past Saturday Mary and I got to do a wedding at The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, PA. Clarisa was a beautiful bride, and we were lucky enough to deliver the bridal party flowers just in time to see her in her gown. Her bridesmaids wore purple gowns which showed off the vibrant orange and purple bouquets perfectly. Delivering to Philly is always exciting and this day was definitely full of lots of energy and excitement. The Constitution Center is a striking venue, with huge glass windows and expansive views of the city. To make sure the centerpieces fit the scale of the room we did 1/2 of the tables with our tall bell vases and the other 1/2 with a smaller coordinating bowl. Lots of floating candles and scattered rose petals helped to complete the look. It was a fun event and turned out gorgeous. Mary and I even got to enjoy a nice lunch in the city while we were waiting for the room at The Constitution Center to be set up. It was a perfect day; the flowers turned out gorgeous, the bride was glowing, and we had a relaxing lunch at Cuba Libre.

The bride carried a bouquet of stock, calla lilies, orchids, snowberry, and rhinestone accents.
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of lisianthus, dahlias, roses, calla lilies, and snowberry. They were wrapped with trimmings from the dresses.

The groomsmen wore single calla lilies with a bear grass accent and wrapped with copper wire.
Half of the centerpieces were done in these low bowls. The bowls were filled with orange tinted water, purple rose petals, and floating candles.
The other half of the centerpieces were these tall bell vases (a rental item). They were filled with the orange tinted water, a stem of orchids, and had floating candles on top. Check out the background of this picture, you can see the city view through the floor to ceiling windows.
Mary created yet another beautiful cake topper. We surrounded the cake with rose petals and vases to hold the bridesmaids bouquets.
It is important not to forget cocktail tables when decorating for your reception. It doesn't take much, just some rose petals and a few votive candles help make sure everything in the room coordinates.
We also rent out this birdcage to hold cards, which we decorate to coordinate with the rest of the look.
Thanks for working with us Clarisa. It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed being a part of your special day!
