Last weekend Mary, mom, and I set up a gorgeous wedding at Lucian's Manor and while it was a ton of work, when we were all done and stepped back and looked at the room I was amazed at how beautiful it all was. That is the best part of this job, stepping back and seeing the final effect. Last November I remember having that same feeling after we set up Lindsey and Brian's wedding at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ. Lindsey was a fun bride with a great sense of style...her and Mary really hit it off. I love a wedding full of bright colors and fun details....and this wedding was full of raspberry pink, bright blue, and rhinestone accents....sounds like the perfect wedding recipe to me! Paul Dempsey Photography provided us with these amazing photos that really highlight the fun, bright colors of this wedding.
Lindsey was a stunning bride. She carried a bouquet of white and bright blue hydrangea, white peonies, white cymbidium orchids, stephanotis, green hypericum, and bear grass accented with rhinestones.
We wrapped the stems with trimmings from the bride's mother's wedding gown.
I loved the little rhinestones that we glues onto the bear grass, I am always a fan of adding some bling :)
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of pink garden roses, pink cymbidium orchids, green hypericum berries, and bear grass accented with rhinestones. We added stephanotis to the maid of honor's bouquet to make it stand out a little from the others.
Here is Lindsey with a her maids of honor. Their gowns matched the blue hydrangea in her bouquet almost perfectly!
To decorate the front of the church we used our white urns filled with mounds of green and blue hydrangea and a collar of baby's breath.
We used baby's breath to make these little wreaths that we hung on each pew.
We added stephanotis and cymbidium orchids to the unity candle to dress it up, a few rose petals finished the table.
Half of the centerpieces were done in our Diana pedestal vase. We swirled bear grass in the bottom of the vase and filled the top with blue hydrangea, pink garden roses, and green cymbidium orchids. I love all these bright vibrant colors together!
We added 3 cylinders filled with water, an orchid, and a floating candle to each table. We accented the cylinders with pink ribbon and a rhinestone. This brought candlelight to the tables without using the standard votives that are usually used.
For the tall centerpieces we used our Chic vase. We designed in a dish that sat on top of the vase using blue and green hydrangea, pink garden roses, and bear grass. In the vase we submerged a green cymbidium orchid.
This was the finished room - see what I mean?!?! It looked amazing, especially with all the purple lighting!
Green orchids adorned the cake.
Thank you Lindsey and Brian for letting us be a part of your day at The Merion, we loved how it all came together and hope you did too!
