Philadelphia Wedding Florist: Emily & Ian at The Franklin Institute

I just have to get something off my chest, I can't take it any more.

Are you ready for it?

Here it is.....a rainbow wedding that is CHIC not CIRCUS!

The incredibly talented Lauren Fair Photography shared these photos with us, and boy, are we happy little florists looking back on Emily & Ian's special day. I really enjoyed working with Emily, her sweet mum and DFW Planning to bring it all together for a home run at Philly's own The Franklin Institute. Believe me, I saw the dance floor packed like a Gaga concert up till the last moment, this wedding was IT.

Her aunt made her this lovely vintage brooch bouquet, it was the perfect fit for her colorful spirit. Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute

Confession: I was nervous with the rainbow palette. I am a total COLOR LOVER but it can be challenging to make it all mesh. The simple black dresses and colorful blooms set off their bright jewelry and pumps. Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute

What color would you want to be? I kinda crushed on Miss Red. But loved them all!Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute

After we got done setting up the ceremony space in the Franklin Institute foyer, I was pretty proud of these trees. We reused her centerpiece vases staggered on the stairs for even more impact. Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute

I guess it is a good sign when Emily entered the room and was overcome with tears. Oh yeah, that felt good. Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute

The metal trees were decked in colorful orchids, roses, hydrangea, sunflowers to bring in all the colors. Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute Philadelphia Wedding Florist - A Garden Party - The Franklin Institute
