Amber's Running Deer wedding matched her personality perfectly : fun, bright, and cheery! We loved the pops of coral pink and rhinestone accents that made this tropical theme so fresh and pretty. A big thanks to Ashley Elaine Photography for sharing these images of Amber and Ryan's beautiful wedding day!
Check it out, below!
Ryan's bout was made with a pom-pom ranunculus and some greenery. Very flattering against his pink vest!
Looking good with the bowties, gentlemen!
The whole wedding party together! Amber and Ryan's beautiful daughters were their flowergirls, and looked especially lovely with their floral crowns.
Running Deer's reception space, all set up and waiting for the party to begin!
These beautiful cascading flowers were made by arranging coral charm peonies, peach juliet roses, spray roses, white hydrangea. This delicious masterpiece was from Apron Strings Desserts - we love the sugar pearls on each tier!
This sweetheart table shined even brighter with another one of our silver sequined linens, and Amber's "Mr. & Mrs." sign.
Congratulations, Amber and Ryan! XOXO
Amber's Bride Diaries
What was the most standout, "Wow!" moment of your wedding day?
The first time I saw Ryan! I was standing with my step father waiting to walk down the aisle. The second we walked in and starting walking towards the alter, I saw him! He was so handsome and he looked so happy and full of love and emotion. After being together 9 years I finally got to marry my best friend. I'll never forget the way he looked at me... definitely an amazing moment.
We know things don't always go as planned...Were there any entertaining wedding bloopers?
Well, right before I walked to the door to start walking down the aisle I started gagging and feeling like I was going to throw up - my nerves were getting the best of me. My mother-in-law grabbed a trash can and shoved my head in it as I dry heaved and she told me not to throw up on my dress... two seconds later I headed to the door to walk down the aisle.
Any wedding toasts that made you laugh til you cried? Cry your eyes out? Gasp in shock?
No... but I did cry when I saw how beautiful our two daughters looked all dressed up, wearing floral crowns, and holding their flowers. They were so beautiful.
We don't judge! Did you have any Bridezilla moments of weakness?
Not that I am aware of.... I was very emotional though the day before and the day of the wedding. I was crying about everything.
Did you have a wedding planner? If so, what did he/she do to make your day run smoother? Did they fulfill your expectations?
We did not use a wedding planner. We planned everything out ourselves. Pinterest helped a lot. My best friend, Tara Berwick, and I planned every single detail! Thank goodness for my mother-in-law, she helped so much.. She handwrote everyone's name on the sand dollars for the seating chart. My mother-in-law, Karen, did so much to help decorate for the wedding, it would not have looked as nice if it wasn't for her.
Cake or cupcakes? What was the flavor and theme?
We did a 4 tier cake from Apron Strings and we had a floral cake display. Each tier had 3 layers of cake which was coconut cake with a layer of pineapple filling and a layer of coconut cream cheese. We tried to have tropical flavors to match our beachy theme. Then we had peachy and coraly color flowers cascading down the cake and a floral table cake display to match.
We always try to bring your floral dreams to life...did we succeed? In what ways? Is there any room for improvement?
A Garden Party did an amazing job with my flowers!!!! I was beyond happy!! I loved all the bouquets!! My daughters had the cutest floral head pieces!! My cake display was breath taking!! No improvement needed.
What song really got the party started?
Our DJ was amazing!!! He had everyone on the dance floor. I am not sure what song got the party started but everyone was dancing and had an amazing time!!

I hope your wedding was exactly as you imagined it would be, but are there any details that went above and beyond your expectations? Anything you wish you would've done differently?
We would have taken our dance lessons for our first dance month in advance instead of two weeks before the wedding!! Everyone told us our first dance was amazing but we messed up... the good thing is that no one knows our dance so no one knows we messed up!! We thanks La Pierre ballroom dancing in Glassboro for the private lessons!! Our wedding was amazing everything exceeded our expectations! I knew it would be beautiful but I didn't realize how special and how perfect it was going to actually be.... the only thing I would have done differently was not have a private cocktail hour, I felt isolated and I just wanted to see the guests. And we barely got to eat during cocktail hour - to think of it we barely ate at all!
