South Jersey Wedding Florist : Alexandra & Andrew at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms

Ahhh the Inn at Fernbrook Farms.  This is rapidly approaching the top of our "Favorite Venues" list because of the garden setting, agricultural theme, and quiet, serene setting it provides to its wildflower brides.  Every bride we have worked with at the Inn at Fernbrook has had impeccable taste - and each one has had a completely different style that is able to be executed because of the flexible nature of the venue.

For Alexandra and Andrew, the theme was one we had not had before.  Elegant? Check.  Romantic? Check. Gold pineapples? Ummm....what?  We have to admit that when that note crossed our desks, we were a bit hesitant.  But Alexandra's pitch and vision convinced us to dive in, and if our girl wanted pineapples, by God she was going to have the prettiest display of pineapples the world had seen.

Michelle Lange was a dream photographer to work with.  Her correspondence and professionalism lives up to her reputation as one of the best, and as you can see in the photos below that her artistry is stunningly beautiful.  We look forward to future events together!

We are proud to share this amazing wedding with you, and see how pineapples and roses are a match made in heaven!

Alexandra's bouquet was gorgeous, with a combination of garden roses, lisianthus, sweet pea, eucalyptus and berries.  Her monogrammed ribbon tails were an added personal touch that we loved, and now offer to all brides!

Andrew looked especially dapper in his navy blue suit, and a simple bout of seeded euc, spray rose and berries completed the look.

The beautiful manor at Fernbrook provides a great photo op.  It is a classic estate, with a mix of clean lines with lush greenery.  This photo sums up Alexandra's taste perfectly - the overall look is elegant and traditional, but the pineapple door-knocker is a fun added detail!

We love a full-floral wreath, and this was no exception.  Clusters of lisianthus, garden roses, seeded eucalyptus, spray roses, and blushing bride protea came together for a lush accent to the black door.

This gleaming 1964 white mustang was a classic getaway car - we couldn't resist an opportunity for floral garland to sit behind the couple as they rode off into the sunset!

Alexandra and Andrew's ceremony space was breathtaking.  The surrounding forestry provided an intimate setting, andAlexandra's father made this wooden arch for the couple to pronounce their vows underneath.  We accented the arch with smilax vines and floral corner pieces of vines, greenery, roses, lisianthus and stock.

Alexandra provided all of her own custom signs and artwork!  Her creativity as a client is what every florist dreams of.  We loved these beautiful signs and that her personal touches were around every corner.

You saw a glimpse of pineapples earlier, but here are the golden fruits in all of their glory serving as table numbers for the reception.  Surrounded by garlands, compotes, and elevated votive candles, we love how they stand out as the statement pieces for the table decor.

Garlands served as runners for the longer tables of the reception.  Ferns, ruscus and eucalyptus leaves gave a lot of dimension and texture, while scattered gold votives, rose heads and  hydrangeas provided color.

This was our initiation into floral chandeliers and we were (and still are!) so proud of this design.  We covered the base with moss before wrapping tons of smilax vine and greenery around the diameter.  More hydrangea, roses and hanging amaranthus added color to this beautiful piece.  The tent draping and lighting helped make this stand-out piece really shine.

Of course the perfect ending to every wedding night is a delectable dessert.  We decorated Alexandra and Andrew's tiered white cake with clusters of pink garden roses and scattered ferns.  Two small pineapples finished out this adorably sweet theme for an equally sweet couple's summer wedding.  Wishing them both all the happiness they deserve!
