Pine Hill Golf Club Wedding – Pine Hill, NJ: Michelle & AndrewBy: admin

Some things are totally worth the wait! I love looking back at weddings from a few months ago and remembering all the little details and fun we had putting it all together. Michelle and Andrew were married this past July 2010 at the Trump National of Philadelphia in Pine Hill, NJ. Michelle Scanzano  of All Things Beautiful was the wedding planner for this wedding, and as usual did an awesome job. If you are a bride looking for a hands on, detail oriented wedding planner you have got to check her out.  We recently did another wedding with her and I got a copy of the master wedding timeline she created for the bride, WHOA. Most amazing document ever created! Anyway, back to this event…this wedding was full of shades of purple (LOVE) and lots of butterfly accents (LOVE LOVE), perfect for a July wedding.  Jon Carlson of Carlson Photo got some amazing shots of the day that I can’t wait to share, without further ado…

Michelle’s bouquet featured white cymbidium orchids, white stock, sweetness roses, and scabiosa.

All the bouquets lined up pretty, they look ready to go down the aisle!  The bridesmaids carried purple stock, sweetness roses, scabiosa, ageratum, and some silver velvety soft lamb’s ear leaves and brunia berries.  To compliment their dresses we wrapped the bouquets with platinum ribbon.

Michelle was a STUNNING bride.

Michelle and her gorgeous bridesmaids! Their dresses were awesome, and check out their necklaces…I loved that they didn’t match, but coordinated. And dang, look at that view!

Michelle and one of her lovely bridesmaids. They look like models!

To frame the ceremony area we set up our pillars with curly willow, crystal strands, mirrors, and of course a few butterflies.

Again with the model poses!  Gorgeous!

These centerpieces were so much fun.  We used a square of wheat grass, a few manzanita branches, hung strands of dendrobium orchids, and placed a few butterflies in the branches and one perched in the grass. This was really an eye catching centerpiece!

A closeup of the branches with the wired orchids.

The other half of the centerpieces were done in our chic vase.  We filled them with lavender tinted water and a submerged butterfly.  On top we used stock, lavender carnations, and seeded eucalyptus arranged in a container so that guests could take them home at the end of the night.

Check out the butterfly in the water!

I love it when all the details of a wedding tie together.  The place cards coordinated perfectly with the centerpieces, the OCD side of me really loves this kind of detail, ha.

We also made up this manzanita wishing tree dressed up with purple carns (so cute for carns!) and crystals.  Each of the guests left good wishes and words of advise on little cards that were hung from the branches.

Their cake looked so yummy, I am a sucker for anything chocolate.  The butterflies were the perfect touch.

Amazing cake topper with the perfect purple butterfly perched right next to it :)

Thanks Michelle and Andrew for letting us be a part of your special day.  You were a gorgeous couple and we had so much fun coming up with ideas for your butterfly filled day.  Hope you enjoyed your first Thanksgiving together as a married couple!

South Jersey Wedding Florist: Tommy and Shannon at the Smithville Inn!By: admin

Tommy and Shannon were hands down one of my favorite weddings we have done recently.  I am a sucker for lots of purple…add to that all these gorgeous butterfly accents and it was perfection.  They got married outside at The Smithville Inn in picture perfect weather.  When Mary showed me all the details in this wedding I was so excited to see that the couple had come up with a theme (butterflies).  It is always fun to add special little details and watch it all come together in the end.  Denise Mabilog was the photographer for this wedding and she caught some gorgeous shots – check out her blog, she does amazing work! Now on to the good stuff :)

Shannon's bouquet featured picasso calla lilies, vanda orchids, lavender and ivory roses, and dark purple stock. We added sprigs of fresh lavender and this bouquet smelled amazing. We wrapped the stems with a handkerchief that Shannon provided to us (I think it was her grandmother's). Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

Here is a close-up shot of the bride's bouquet. If you look close you can see that we snuck in a couple of jeweled butterflies – so pretty! Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

For the bridesmaids we used similar flowers and accented the stems with a butterfly. I love the pops of bright green against the purple. Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

Shannon was such a gorgeous bride! I love this shot, these girls all look so pretty and that covered bridge is picture perfect. Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

They got married outside under this pergola. We added butterflies to the urns, perched on the branches and put a few in the top arbor piece. We even hung strands of white butterflies on each side <3

I loved these urns. We use our manzanita branches, hydrangea, roses, stock, and of course those butterflies!

Mary designed this piece and I have one word for it – LOVE!

This piece was featured on their seating card table. Adding a tall piece like this to the placecard table is so eye catching.

Check out the little butterflies that Shannon gave us to put on all of the wineglasses – I love these little details! Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

We made floral rings to go around hurricanes for half of the tables. The floral rings are a great option for brides that want to give their centerpieces away to their guests at the end of the wedding.

The other half of the tables we did these mounded silver bowl arrangements. The silver metal bowl is a rental and the arrangements are designed for guests to remove and take home. I love hydrangea; especially mixed with roses, kale, bupleurum, and butterflies. Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

Instead of a traditional cake topper, we decorated the top of their cake with just a few spray roses and a beaded butterfly. Photo courtesy of Denise Mabilog Photography.

Lots of pictures, but they were all too good not to share!  Congratulations to Tommy and Shannon and thank you so much for letting us be a part of your wonderful day.  July has been such a fun wedding month for us :)   This Friday we are so excited to be hosting our first annual Open House.  We hope to see you there! Contact Mary via e-mail, Mary@gardenpartysisters.com to RSVP or for details on the Open House.
