This past Sunday Mary and I displayed at a bridal show at one of our very favorite venues, Running Deer Golf Club. The show was done through Rock the Aisle Bridal Productions and we were so impressed with the number of brides that showed up and how well the show was put together. We met so many great brides for 2011 and even some for 2012! There were lots of awesome South Jersey vendors there including The Sweet Life Bakery(just this past weekend we enjoyed lunch from them and a tray of sweets...sooo yummy!), Tami Melissa Photography (check us out on her blog about the show), Douglas Photographics (we have worked with him a few times - see him on our recommended vendors page), and The Maria Collection (love their jewely!). I always enjoy meeting and talking with the brides at shows like this, it is so much fun to hear how excited they are about getting married and planning their weddings. Running Deer is a gorgeous venue with an amazing outdoor ceremony area. It seems like every time we got there they have added something else...at the show I noticed that they had put in these amazing fire pits ouside on their patio area, the perfect addition for an outside cocktail hour. Mary took a few pictures...and Tami was kind enough to send us some as well (thanks!).
Pretty in pink - this bouquet is full of hydrangea, pink sweetpea, gorgeous pink and white fringed tulips, and some white feathers. We wrapped the stems with pink velvet ribbon and added a lace overlay.
Iris make a stunning display in this bouquet. We accented the iris with some veronica and bear grass.
Hot pink roses, craspedia, fringed tulips, and orange star of bethelhem came together for this fun bouquet. To really make it pop we wrapped the stems in orange satin with a hot pink criss cross and added a charm.
I was in love with this bouquet of lilac, blackberries, and jasmine vine wrapped with a printed green velvet ribbon. LOVE.
Words cannot begin to describe how excited Mary and I are about these new rental pieces we got in about a month ago. These wax luminaries are perfect to dress up your placecard table, line an aisle, or even as centerpieces. We added manzanita branches with pink crystals, esperance roses (I think this is my fav pink rose), hydrangea, and fringed tulips. The luminaries glow from little led lights placed inside. Stunning.
Our martini glass is popular with brides to dress up the bar or cocktail tables. We have them in 3 sizes...this is the medium size filled with pearls, rose petals, and a floating candle.
These lanterns always look beautiful at Running Deer...they just go with the decor of the room perfectly. We did a ring of fresh flowers around the lantern using hydrangea, astrantia, sweetpea, and heather. Photo courtesy of Tami Melissa Photography.
We set this centerpiece on our burlap table cover with a moss mat underneath of it. We have both of these items available for rent.
This tall black vase looked do elegant with manzanita branchs, phalaenopsis orchids, hanging votives, and crystal balls (we just got these in and they are AMAZING!). Photo courtesy of Tami Melissa Photography.
Here is a close up of the crystal balls...they are gorgeous and we have matching crystal votive candle holders.
Since the show was the day before Valentine's Day we had to do something red. Mary designed this eye catching centerpiece in a mirrored vase, full of red parrot tulips, red gerber daisies, and red carnations. Photo courtesy of Tami Melissa Photography.
I am getting so excited about 2011. Meeting all of these brides makes me more and more ready for wedding season to arrive! I love all of the ideas they have and can't wait to make their visions come to life. We have a wedding this weekend and our cooler is full of lots of beautiful flowers...just waiting for us to put them all together. Thank you to Running Deer for hosting the bridal show and thank you to all of the amazing brides that attended. We can't wait to hear from you!
