This fall has been so amazing. I can't believe it is already the middle of October! I also can't believe it has taken me this long to blog about Molly and Matt's wedding at The Glen Foerd Mansion in Philadelphia right on the Delaware River. Their wedding was last May and was definitely one of my favorites of the year. The colors, the couple, the location, all the sweet details....and then to top it off, all the amazing pictures from Aysa Photography. Molly is so sweet and is one of those brides that I feel we really developed a true friendship with. I miss talking to her!
Check out this bridal party. I am in love with the statement necklaces on the bridesmaids!
The bridesmaids carried bouquets of purple sweetpea, fuchsia peonies, purple anemone, succulents, and peacock feathers. These colors looked amazing together and the peacock feathers added the perfect touch of drama.
How sweet are these two?!?! Molly carried a bouquet of white peonies, white sweetpea, white ranunculus, succulents, and fiddleheads.
With an all white bouquet, texture is so important, and I loved all of the texture in this bouquet. We added just a touch of color with the fiddleheads, succulents, and peacock feathers.
Molly made this feature herself! We accented it with purple vanda orchids and hung it as the perfect pretty backdrop during their ceremony. We flanked it with our wooden pedestals with lanterns and a ring of flowers. Some extra rose petals were used to form a heart in the grass, marking the spot Matt and Molly would stand.
The aisle was lined with lanterns and Molly made these pretty cones to hold toss petals.
This is one of my favorite centerpiece styles. A gorgeous ring of flowers around our lanterns. This design featured viburnum, fuchsia peonies, dianthus, purple tulips, purple trachelium, purple veronica, and succulents.
The same style was used on half of the tables as a centerpiece. I loved how they used pictures of themselves, framed, as the table numbers.
The other half of the tables featured a black cylinder vase with sandblasted manzanita branches accented with purple vanda orchids and having votives.
Glen Foerd Mansion is such a gorgeous venue. Loved this shot, showing how beautiful the room is all set.
Molly did this herself too! Loved this idea...Mary left a note for them!
I couldn't blog about this wedding and not include this picture.....I mean what bride doesn't want their florists to sneak into the photo booth for an awesome photo op??? To be fair, we came back at the end of the night, to break everything down and couldn't miss a chance to tell Molly and Matt how much we love them!
Thank you to all of our brides and followers for being so patient with us through this BUSY fall wedding season. We promise to get back to our regular weekly blogging soon!
