Lauren's Bride Diaries - Q&A
My favorite moment was absolutely getting to the end of the aisle and seeing my (almost) husbands eyes well up with tears. Seeing him was the moment I was most looking forward to before the wedding and it absolutely did not disappoint!
We had wedding crashers!! Our venue had two other weddings going on that same evening, and these two women came into the wedding and started dancing up a storm! As they left, they told my cousin that they had been to the two other wedding in the building that evening, and that ours was the most fun!
We had toasts from my mom, Jon's dad, and our matron of honor and best man- all of them were so wonderful and moving. I have to say, though, they all know us well, and know we love to laugh. We both laughed so hard during the toasts that we cried, haha.
I had a complete panic attack about 5 hours before the wedding. I text Jon a question, and he didn't respond. A bit later I texted again. And again. And he wasn't replying. So I called his mom- she didn't know where he was either!! I was sure he'd gotten cold feet! Turns out he and his friends decided to go bowling and his phone had died! Needless to say I was relieved when he texted about his mistake!
We planned the whole wedding, but decided to have a day of coordinator. We had Proud to Plan take care of everything during the day of the wedding, and I cannot stress enough that it was such a great decision. I wasn't stressed at all, they took care of every single detail, and if anything went wrong, I certainly didn't know it.
Cake! We had this to die for mocha frosting, and one of my friends offered to help us eat the top layer that we saved for our 1 year anniversary she liked it so much!
The bouquets were more perfect than I could even imagine. The purples were the exact right color, and the bridesmaids bouquets were fantastic as well. The flowers during the ceremony and reception were so great- we got tons of compliments, and my mom said that they were her favorite part!
With my friends, EVERY song gets a party started! They were on the dance floor at every possible second.

10. I'm sure your day was amazing, but if you could change one thing about your wedding what would it be? Or would you not change anything at all?
I would try to get more photos with more of the guests- there were people that attended that I don't have photos with at all.
