A Garden Party had the honor of setting up our first wedding at The Downtown Club in Philadelphia, PA back in July! With the last days of summer quickly approaching and the cool fall chill in the air, we are reminiscing back to Stacy and Brian's chic red, white & blue wedding! Stacy wanted her wedding to have the feel of the quintessential Philadelphia independence day! We loved working with Stacy, not only did she design A Garden Party's first website, but she also designed Mary's wedding invitation! Tina Jay Photography did an absolutely stunning job with all of the photos!
How beautiful are these ladies! Don't you just love how the shades of red pop against the bridesmaids sea-mist gowns, we certainly do!
The all red bridesmaids bouquets featured dahlias, celosia, spray roses, and ranunculus hand tied with sea-mist ribbon.
Stacy's all red bridal bouquet featured peonies, dahlias, spray roses, and ranunculus hand tied with sea-mist ribbon accented with her grandfathers watch. What a sweet way to honor a loved one!
The ceremony area was flanked with our mirrored pedestals. The large designs featured red orchids, dahlias, lilies and hanging red amaranthus.
Close up of the designs. Those lilies were stunning!
Some of the centerpieces were also re-purposed and used during the ceremony. After the ceremony ended, our crew stayed and helped move everything to the reception tables.
The new Mr. and Mrs.! She looks fabulous thanks to Jessica Spina from Your Day Your Way, who did her hair and make-up!
What a beautiful day for a wedding in Philadelphia!
A Garden Party accented Stacy and Brian's place card table with our silver sequin linen and 12 assorted cylinders, which featured a band of sea-mist ribbon and a red dahlia with a white floating candle.
We are totally LOVING this sweetheart table set up, courtesy of The Downtown Club! We might just have to purchase a mirrored table and studded love seat for our future brides!
Stacy's centerpieces featured a trio of cylinders with red orchids, lilies, and dahlias accented with a white floating candle.
Isn't this room just so chic and modern?! The sea-mist linen really made our centerpieces POP! We find that a colored linen can add the right amount of drama to any room!
Congratulations to the happy couple!
