Philadelphia Wedding Florist: Erin & Sean at The Glen Foerd Mansion
The Glen Foerd on the Delaware is a beautiful riverfront estate that interwines historical architecture with Southern-like landscaping. The grounds are made up of an incredible mix of ponds, gardens, a cottage, a boat house, and even sculptures to add to its rich and interesting past. It doesn't take long to see why our bride, Erin, and her now-husband Shawn picked Glen Foerd for their wedding venue, and we were happy to tag along for their big day.
Our near and dear friend, Tami, of Tami Melissa Photography photographed this fall wedding and as always, she exceeded our expectations. Tami's work is distinct for its bright colors and great use of light (have you seen our headshots??) and we always always get excited when we see her name come up! Her husband and partner-in-crime, Ryan, can get anyone to crack a smile- a huge advantage for this photography duo.
Check out our DIY bride, Erin, and her beautiful fall wedding!
We love how Erin went with these claret colored bridesmaids gowns! Such a fun, unique color that still goes so well with the fall.
Erin's adorable flower girl carried a kissing ball and wore a floral crown to match her sash. We love doing these floral crowns, and the trend is growing for brides!
Sean's bout was wrapped in ivory ribbon and made up of a viking mum, safflower and hypericum berries.
Sean's groomsmen wore bouts wrapped in that great wine colored ribbon, and had more of the safflower and berries.
Look at how romantic this mansion is! Makes for a truly timeless photograph.
This lovely wreath was made for the entrance to Glen Foerd, and the silk flowers means that it can last for every fall with the new Mr. and Mrs.!
Love this pumpkin centerpiece that is just bursting with flowers.
