Today we are featuring Melissa & Tom's Avalon Yacht Club wedding from back in November. It's hard to tell this event took place in the fall, because the vibrant orange and blue color scheme teamed up with the nautical touches truly make this beach wedding feel like summer.
Diamond Street Photography took these amazing photos - you can't even tell by looking at them just how cold and windy this wedding really was! It doesn't hurt that this couple outshines professional models - we've never seen such pearly white smiles and luscious blonde locks!
Of course, the wildly talented Kristin Barse of Bel Momento Event Planning was there to make sure this event was nothing but smooth sailing (pun intended, ha!) What greater luxury could a bride have than to have a wedding coordinator there to help her enjoy it as much as she can??
Check out this nautical November wedding, below!
Melissa's bridesmaids carried bouquets of white hydrangea, with a navy blue and white striped wrap and finished off an orange ribbon.
Tom's groomsmen wore bouts of white gomphrina, blue thistle, viburnum berry and orange bittersweet. We gave them a little more pop by wrapping them in orange ribbon.
On to the reception!
Guests were welcomed with our tall metal vase, filled with white hydrangea, viburnum berries, and greens. We tied it off with a knotted rope and more blue and white ribbon to match the linen.
We love these adorable accents to fit with Melissa's theme.
How awesome are these table number holders?! We couldn't get enough of the couple's attention to detail.
Of course, who can resist a little knotted napkin tie
The only hint of the fall season were a few potted mums to accent the cocktail area, wrapped in burlap and tied with an ivory ribbon.
Melissa and Tom had this sweet little set up for their sweetheart table. Melissa's bouquet was placed here, and we scattered a few votives to enhance the look.
Melissa added her own touches with these cool globes, and a hanging rope sign that we are only a little bit jealous of.
Last, but assuredly not least, is the dessert table! An assortment of cupcakes with a small round cake finished off this beautiful wedding.
