Kait's floral choices for her Running Deer wedding were a breath of fresh air at our shop. We were so happy to work with colors! And Kait's color scheme of greens, pinks, purples and whites in a garden style was the perfect fit for us.
This was our first time working with Tina Elizabeth Photography, and we are very impressed with her talents! We poured over these images and loved how she captured the fun and outgoing personalities of these clients, as well as the details portrayed in our arrangements. We are definitely looking forward to working with this skilled photographer again.
Kait's floral crown was very delicate and sweet, made from lacing together astrantia, phlox and heather.
Kait's bridesmaids did not disappoint in these beautiful sangria gowns. We coordinated their bouquets with the bride, using pale pink ranunculus, hot pink peonies, purple sweet peas, heuchera, lavender, wildflowers and cherry brandy roses.
The handsome groom, Joe, wore a bout of white spray roses and heather. We are loving his sangria vest!
Of course the groomsmen needed some pops of color! We happily complied with bouts of hot pink spray roses wrapped in rainbow ribbon (we still kept it somewhat masculine, promise.)
This picture made us laugh out loud with how Kait's bridesmaid cheered them on after they said their vows. What a great friend!
...we see a lot of happy couples, but none as genuinely pumped to be married as these guys! They were seriously the best.
Kait and Joe's centerpieces were simple and sweet, with mason jars filled with roses, garden roses, buplurum and bachelor buttons placed on wood slices . Candles, honey favors, and purple napkins rounded out the table settings for this cute look.
This pretty little cake from Apron Strings Desserts had the perfect touch of the couple's personality with the wooden deer cake toppers. We accented with a lavender rose, columbine and s bachelor button.
Congratulations, Kait & Joe! Thank you for including us in your special day!! XOXO
Kait's Bride Diaries
What was the most standout, "Wow!" moment of your wedding day?
For our day we wanted everything to be "us" so we designed everything, and had a vision of what we wanted that day to look like. So being able to see all of what we created come together was a truly beautiful thing.
We know things don't always go as planned...Were there any entertaining wedding bloopers?
The only thing I can really say didn't go as planned was the groomsmen's pocket squares. Somehow my count was off by one so we were short one at the wedding so I had to cut one in half. Oops!
We don't judge! Did you have any Bridezilla moments of weakness?
I am pretty easy going, so I don't think I really had any weakness, the only difficulty came to the venue because it was so far away so I kept having to email the girls for measurements and fine details.
Did you have a wedding planner? If so, what did he/she do to make your day run smoother? Did they fulfill your expectations?
We did not have a wedding planner we did it all on our own :)
Cake or cupcakes? What was the flavor and theme?
We have a cutting cake and cupcakes. My husband is an avid outdoorsman so we went with a rustic/organic/garden feel.
We always try to bring your floral dreams to life...did we succeed? In what ways? Is there any room for improvement?
I loved my flowers. I wanted them to look as if someone had just picked them out of a wildflower field,as I often do and they turned out perfect ! They were just how I pictured them. And my flower crown was exactly what I wanted! I got so many compliments :)
What song really got the party started?
Hmm .. There was so many but I'd have to say the entire 90's set our DJ did at the beginning.
Who were your vendors?

Any other vendors you would like to credit?
Our photographer was Tina Elizabeth Photography and she was amazing. She is such an amazing person and we just love her to death. She's so professional, yet made us feel as ease the entire time.
I hope your wedding was exactly as you imagined it would be, but are there any details that went above and beyond your expectations? Anything you wish you would've done differently?
I think just the way all the vendors worked together and made our vision become a reality was just the most incredible part.
