Chesterfield Wedding Florist : Joanna & Paul at the Inn at Fernbrook Farms
The Inn at Fernbrook Farms is as rich in history as it is in beauty. Nestled in the woodlands of Chesterfield, NJ,the Inn is known for it's natural surroundings, rustic decor and huge barn - the perfect setting for Joanna and Paul's vintage, wildflower wedding.
Joanna's request for her wedding flowers was that they looked as if they were "gathered from a meadow." We loved being able to combine foliage with bright colors for this light-hearted affair- which was 100% American grown! Photographer Kella Macphee eloquently translated Joanna's theme in her images - they are serene and timeless, capturing every detail that brought the day together.
This floral crown was one of two made for Joanna and Paul's flowergirls.
We loved Joanna's unique picks for bridesmaids dresses, with varying styles and shades of green.
The handsome groom, Paul, wore a bout of seasonal elements
Paul's groomsman looked very handsome with their green ties - an excellent way to coordinate with the bridesmaids.
These brightly colored fans welcomed guests to the couple's ceremony - so cute and pretty!
Two urns flanked the aisle for the ceremony, filled with lilac, peonies, and weigelia.
As the couple walks to their reception, we are lucky to catch another glimpse of the lush grounds of the Inn.
Our rented shutter screen was the perfect fit to hold the placecards for guests. We adorned it with hanging bottles of lilac and daisies to really enhance the space.
We are absolutely in love with this reception space. Each centerpiece was a different combination of brass and pewter pieces to go along with Joanna's vision. We added some vintage elements, such as teacups, books, and etched glassware. The ribbon garland and pastel candlesticks added just the right amount of color to contrast the bright white of the tent.
Pink peonies, light pink stock, ferns and heather made up this sweet little piece.
Joanna was one of the most well-spoken people we have had the pleasure of working with - how fitting that books were such an integral part of her decor!
The color scheme for each centerpiece was ever so slightly varied - here we have some deeper pink and red hues from zinnias and peonies mixed with ferns and other greenery.
This pretty yet subtle napkin treatment was the final touch for Joanna and Paul's decor.
