Wilmington Wedding Florist : Cristina & Kevin at the Brantwyn Estate
When I first got engaged, it was around the same time I started working at A Garden Party. I was floating on air, helping brides plan their weddings while constantly keeping a mental list about what I wanted for mine. Every week new photos would come in for me to blog, and I thought that I had seen it all, that I knew what to expect since I worked behind-the-scenes.
If there was one thing I should have learned during all that, it was to never underestimate Mary and Dawn. Ever.
A Garden Party has given me a new appreciation for nature, for flowers, for the beauty that can come together with the right amount of talent and style. To see these women in their element, they aren't just doing their job. They are creating custom artwork, tailored to fit the personality of their clients. For as much as the flowers and arrangements represent A Garden Party, they also just as fittingly represent me. I didn't even know that was possible!
And of course my photographers were Tami & Ryan Photography! These two are just as thank-worthy! This couple came to take my wedding photos - and were ready to sew up my ripped dress, whipped out umbrellas to protect me from the storm, chauffered me to my venue since I was going to just take a cab (apparently that's frowned upon when you're in a white gown), and jumped up in the middle of their dinner break to catch a surprise moment with my groom. These two are awesome people, never stop smiling and joking, and take pretty good photos as well. Love you, guys!
