Cape May Wedding Florist : Brittany & Greg at the Southern Mansion

Brittany and Greg's wedding at The Southern Mansion was something out of a magazine.  Brittany had an incredible eye for detail, and had thought of a special accent for every corner of every room - no, really!  Her impeccable taste had us gushing during this delivery, and Ashley Errington's photography skills expertly translates the elegance of the arrangements and decor.

The personality found in these wedding images, particularly the dynamic between this sweet, newly united family, are tear-jerking. It's events (and clients!) like these that make us love our jobs.

Brittany's bouquet was a lush, loose arrangement of dahlias, seeded euc, white roses, astilbe, protea and spray roses.  Full of color and texture, this bouquet was dramatic and gorgeous!

Brittany's bridesmaids carried similiar bouquets on a smaller scale - this was perfect for the neutral tones in the gowns they wore.  Brittany's door frame served as a backdrop for photos, and we were happy to supply hanging arrangements of berries, dahlias, roses and stock to dress them up a bit.

Loved these flower girl crowns of roses, waxflower, greenery and long flowing ribbons.  The gorgeous dresses the girls' wore weren't too shabby either!

Dapper bouts of spray roses, waxflower and seeded euc were the perfect accessories for the fashionable men of the bridal party.

The Southern Mansion is a beautifully manicured property in its own right, but we helped amped up the entrance for guests with our vintage bike rental.  A moss basket with smilax and draping florals made for a grand welcoming, along with our hand-painted wooden sign

We're big fans of the growing trend in program signage.  Instead of handing out pamphlets, Brittany requested having the list of the parents and bridal party on our rented chalkboard sign outside of the ceremony space.

It's hard to be too disappointed in the weather when this is your rain plan.  The gorgeous ceremony room at the Southern Mansion has no shortage of charm, with ornate gold mirrors and embellished mantles.

We completely covered the mantles with assorted milkglass bud vases, votive candles and layers of smilax vines.

Different accent tables throughout the reception space were decorated with adorable vintage props, like the suitcase, mailbox and signage pictured above.  We continued adding smilax, gold mercury bud vases and arrangements with berries, roses, eucalyptus and dahlias thorughout the space.

The dining room at the Southern Mansion always looks so clean and sophisticated, with floor-to-ceiling windows and polished hardwood floors. Our centerpieces coordinated with Brittany's collection of vintage items, with silver trays holding small arrangements of flowers in pewter mugs and vases.

We especially loved Brittany and Greg's sweetheart table set up!  Brittany rented this small wooden table, and let us go all out with staging our settee, crystal cups to hold floating candles, a gorgeous coordinating arrangement to pop into the drawer and gold chandeliers to hang above with cascading florals.

This is just one example of many priceless moments captured by Ashley Errington Photography's talented eye.

Congratulations to this sweet, gracious family!  We are so happy for you and grateful to have been able to be a part of your special day!
