Garden Goodness at Scotland Run
Chris and Shaelene's wedding at Scotland Run has a soft spot in our hearts. Shaelene's floral style and selections was the perfect representation of our signature garden style, and we loved embracing this "freshly picked" look for her bouquet and arrangements. With its lush gardens and landscaping, Scotland Run is a natural fit for this type of floral design.
Lemon Hill Studio was the photographer for this event, and we thank them for sharing all the beautiful details and moments from this lovely fall day!
Shaelene's bouquet was truly a workof art - the longer you look, the more details you see. Dahlias, scabiosa, thistle, roses, succulents, calla lilies...the list of different stems goes on and on, but it flows beautifully together as an end result.
One of our favorite parts of Scotland Run is how magical their grounds are - and it's not just limited to the ceremony and reception areas. Guests are enchanted by the walk to the wedding celebrations with awnings draped in vines and string lights. We covered the "Welcome" sign with heavy garlands of eucalyptus and roses to continue the look of overgrown greenery.
This ceremony space was fit for a princess! The aisle was lined with hundreds of rose petals and lanterns adorned with floral accents. The alter itself was quite the statement piece, with drapes, balloons, string lights, hanging bud vases and a gorgeous floral arrangement of roses, hydrangea, stock and greens.
The reception space was filled with the flickering lights of floating candles, lanterns and string lights, along with more garlands of eucalyptus, roses and smilax. A few flowers added to the cake were the perfect ending to a beautiful day.
Congratulations, Shaelene and Chris! Wishing you all the love in the world!
