Burgundy at the Bar
The romance of red hues will never be lost on us. We love the mysterious, moody vibe that comes from red flowers, and the growing varieties of stems in this color spectrum make it that much more fun to play with.
Lauren and Ted's wedding at the Olde Bar in Philadelphia had a wonderful blend of color and details that make it the perfect wedding to feature for Valentine's Day. Pat Robinson Photography gave us all the feels with the excellent balance of light and shadow, making all of these pretty arrangements shine.
Sometimes the combination of red and white can look a bit dated, so using different shades and textures helps modernize this color scheme. Bits of greenery and waxflower helped these bouts and floral jewelry stand out as stylish and beautiful.
Our stunning bride kept her attire relatively simple, and opted the drape herself with flowers instead. Obviously we were 100% on board. Blush garden roses, pink and red peonies, eucalyptus and astilbe came together to create this airy bouquet and coordinating floral crown.
Long ribbon tails gave these bridesmaids bouquets a whimsical look, matching perfectly with their flowing nude gowns.
We added two huge altar arrangements to the couple's church ceremony to help the theme of their wedding flow together.
Our gold terrarium card holder and centerpieces gave enough glitz to make the reception decor special, but the overall look was clean and simplistic.
This adorable cake looked divine with gold trim and a cluster of peonies, spray roses and greens tucked in. The ornate gold cake stand with hanging crystals made it a true statement piece.
A eucalyptus garland at the sweetheart table tied the couple's chairs together, and made them look like natural royalty.
Congratulations, Lauren and Ted!
